Pepi Hristozova is a great singer and this is not news for those who have listened to her and have been convinced of her immense talent, but everyone else will agree once she sings. He is one of the leading names of the new generation of folk singers who are making a name for themselves mainly with new original music based on folk. Pepi Hristozova has extensive stage experience, knows Bulgarian and Balkan folklore well, performs every song perfectly and what is more - she is a talented composer who combines good school and theoretical training, excellent knowledge of the rich folk heritage, universal performing experience at home and abroad, carrying a huge creative charge, manages to create wonderful folk melodies, accepted and loved by the audience. His repertoire includes a large number of titles from Bulgarian and Balkan folklore, pop folk, pop and other popular titles.
Pepi Hristozova was born on 26 December in Plovdiv, but grew up among folk singers and musicians in the rich folk traditions of the Plovdiv village of Belozem. She received her first singing lessons from her father and then continued with folk singing and solfege lessons with music teacher Maria Naydenova from Plovdiv. Her song "Maidal is a flower" the sisters Pepi and Tanya Christozovi recorded in the festive program "Spring in the fairy tales - 2016". He became one of the Nightingales of Radio Stara Zagora in the competition "Nightingale" with the song "Sitting Boy", which is an old authentic song from his region - Belozem, Plovdiv. He made his first professional record in Radio Plovdiv when he was in the 4th grade with the Thracian song "Georgi na mama said". In the same year he made his first TV pictures at BNT for the programme "Spring Springs". She graduated in folk singing at the National School of Folk Music Shiroka Luka in 2001 and then in music pedagogy at AMTI, Plovdiv.
As a schoolgirl she began singing professionally with her father's orchestra Ivan Hristozov. At the age of 12 she sang with the orchestra of the music in Stambolovo, at the Folk Festival in Koprivshtitsa. In 1996-97 he won prizes in the competitions "With the Songs of Atanaska Todorova", "With the Songs of Yovcho Karaivanov", "With the Songs of Nedyalka Keranova", participated in the International Folklore Festival in Litohoro, Greece, etc. For the first time she sang on the stage in Hall No. 1 of the National Palace of Culture as a student in 10th grade, at the representative concert of folk arts schools. She started singing with the orchestra of the folk palette of clarinetist Petar Voynikov, with them she recorded two songs. He studied part-time and went abroad to sing. Until 2008 he sang with the orchestra in Switzerland, Austria and Germany. During these years Pepi did not stop enriching his repertoire, searching for many new songs from his native land and composing more and more new folk songs.
In this period Milko Kalaidjiev invites her for joint performances, they turn out to be great and start working as a tandem. Milko encouraged her to release her debut album. Pepi Hristozova's Folk Puzzle appeared in 2008 and Pepi Hristozova became one of the voices of a music company of Piner. Milko is also its initiator in the pop folk genre. In late 2009, their duet hit "One Hundred Years of Solitude" appeared. In the same year they both participated in the folk festival in Komotini, Greece, and in the autumn Pepi Hristozova debuted in Pirin Folk, Sandanski with the songs "Love Unfinished" and "Prayer". Her song "Love Unrequited" also won the Planet Folk Award.
At the end of the year she released her second album "Nightingale Sing", and at the annual music awards of Planeta TV Pepi Hristozova won the award for folk singer. An indicator of the talent of a singer are the duets - Pepi Hristozova has recorded duet songs with some of the most famous names. As a performer of Piner, she is a regular participant in the folklore shows filmed in the "The Tales" complex and broadcast on the three TV channels "Planeta", "Planeta Folk" and "Planeta HD". Pepi Hristozova continues to record new songs and increasingly actively create original songs, and in 2014 released her third solo album "Wine to pour, to sing".
In the summer of 2015. Pepi Hristozova took part in the celebratory concert "25 years" "Piner" in Stara Zagora, where she performed her author's song "Devoiko bello, Reda" and the duet with Nelina "Look at me, look, lick". Tulip". His performance is included in the triple DVD and in the audio recording of the concert. In the autumn of the same year Pepi Hristozova sang at the concert of the Canary Orchestra in Stara Zagora, where she performed seven songs from their repertoire. In the spring of 2016 Pepi Hristozova took part in the anniversary concert "Zemo bulgariansko, Orfeeva" of the Orpheus Orchestra in Plovdiv.
