Vasil Naydenov is a Bulgarian pop singer, composer and lyricist. He graduated from the Academy of Music's Faculty of Performing Arts, majoring in piano. He started his career as a pianist of the Golden Strings ensemble in 1969, and from 1976 to 1978 he was a vocalist of Diana Express. His real popularity, the song that made him the number one singer of Bulgaria and a favorite of the audience in the 1980s, was the song from the film "Adaptation" (1979) named the melody of the year. Every song he performed thereafter became a hit: "At First Cock", "Love Goes On", "Telephone Love", "Goodbye I Said", "Miracle". His new nickname, Vasko Ketsza, came out around this time. He sang duets with Lili Ivanova, Margarita Khranova and Silvia Katsarova.
