He was born on 26 October 1972 in Pleven. He graduated from the Secondary Special Art School of Applied Arts (SSHUPI) in Troyan, and then - Ceramics and Glass at the Art Academy. He became a star as Lubo from "They" in 2000-2007. With them he has won four times the award for best Bulgarian group, but he has also solo awards - for best lyrics of 2013, artist of the year ("BG Radio 2012"), song number 1 (2007). Among his more famous hits are "Are There Flowers", "I Will Find You", "Different", "I Want", "Forbidden Love", "I Believe Again". Three of the songs on his first solo album "Lubo 2010" found a place on MTV Europe's World Chart Express. He has also had success on the electronic scene with the release of two house music albums, and his Life Is Beautiful tour was one of the most successful of 2012. However, his talent extends beyond his vocal gift - there are over 150 lyrics he has written for his colleagues Donny, Orlin Pavlov, Irina Florin, Tony, Maria Ilieva, the groups Kaffe, Saffo and others. Lyubo is also one of the most desired duet partners for the ladies in Bulgarian pop: Beloslava, Santra, Kamelia Todorova, Hilda Kazasyan, Desi Dobreva, Victoria Terziyska. He also has a long-standing friendship with Maria Ilieva, with whom he shares a hit song - All Right, and since the second season of the Bulgarian X-Factor they have been sitting together at the judges' table as mentors. Her song for summer 2013 "Playing Stylishly" is also based on his lyrics. At the beginning of 2014, he judged another music reality show on Nova, but for children talents - "Big Hopes", and led the annual BG Radio Awards ceremony, where he also received the award for BG Artist. Since 2015 he has been in the supergroup "Foundation" as one of the vocalists (together with Stanley and Dancho Karadzhov), where he performs FSB hits and sits behind the drums.
