Two young talents, like two colourful nightingales, who have been inoculated with the love of Bulgarian folk music since they were little, will delight you with their wonderful songs, which they prepare for every meeting with the audience. Kalina and Nevena's repertoire includes songs from the folklore richness of Thrace, Macedonia, Mysia, Strandzha and other folklore regions.

Kalina /Kristiana Dinkova/ was born on 05.11. in Plovdiv. She has been attending private folk singing lessons since the age of 9. Nevena /Nevena Vrancheva/ was born on 09.04. in Plovdiv. She has been singing since she was a child and developed her talent in a private folk singing school. Both graduated from secondary school "St. She graduated from high school in St. Cyril and Methodius. She graduated from St. Sophia and St. Methodius school in Plovdiv with an advanced study of Bulgarian folklore. There Kalina and Nevena became part of the quartet "Butterfly" with the leader of the popular folk singer Vichka Nikolova, who also prepared them for the big stage. With the quartet "Butterfly" they won first prizes at various competitions and festivals in Bulgaria and abroad. In 2010 they were admitted to the Academy of Performing Arts in Sofia. In 2010 they graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts - Folklore. Kalina and Nevena were accepted into the Academic Folk Choir with conductor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kostadin Buradjiev. In their individual training they are helped by the famous folk singer Danka Tsvetkova. In 2011 with the Academic Choir they won the Champions of Grand Prix in the most prestigious choir competition in the world "World Choir Games" in Graz, Austria. After the break-up of the quartet the two girls decided to continue as a duet. Their music teacher Zdravko Mandadzhiev gave them the confidence to do so and created their first song "Your Letter Has Come". With it they achieved success at the International Festival "Pirin Folk" in Sandanski 2013, where they won first place as a duet and first place of the journalist jury. After their successful performance at "Pirin Folk", in the spring of 2014, Kalina and Nevena signed a contract with music company "Piner". The song "Your Letter Has Come" is their debut on the air of TV "Planeta Folk" as part of the folklore program "Spring in the Tales". In the autumn of the same year, the folklore duo presented videos of the songs "I've Got Milena" and "Fire to Burn", which are from the Thracian folklore area. A year after their TV debut, in the program "Spring in Fairy Tales - 2015", Kalina and Nevena present the Macedonian song "You come to me" and the Thracian "Early wounded Kara Georgi". Kalina and Nevena perform the song "I've missed Milena" at the "25 years of Piner" Holiday Concert in Stara Zagora. Their performance is included in the triple DVD and in the audio CD of the concert. In the autumn of the same year Kalina and Nevena recorded two more songs. In the summer of 2016. Kalina and Nevena released their debut album "Folklore Magic" with songs from different ethnographic regions, subordinated to the idea to be something like a musical walk through Bulgaria, in which to present the beauty and diversity of music from different folklore regions. And in their musical program, which they present in their performances and in their debut album, Kalina and Nevena perform beautiful folk songs from all folklore regions.
