Born on 21 July 1978 in Sofia. His parents are Kiril and Toni Ampov, who sang together in the duet "Aquarel" and the trio "Special Case", with which the musical career of their son Vladimir Ampov began. His debut song "Mom, Dad and Me" (I've been in this world for ten years...) was released in 1988, when Vladi was only 10. "Mandarins" was his first hit, promoted in the BNT's "Musical Wonderland" programme. It broke into MTV's World Chart Express chart with several tracks, with "Vanilla" even reaching number 1 in January 2008. Also in 2008, he was voted Artist of the Decade in the MM TV Music Awards and founded his production company Monte Music, which backs some of the most popular young artists. His discography since 1993 includes over 15 albums. Among his most popular songs are "I give everything for you", "Sex for money", "You have", "I want you", "If there is a paradise", "The happiest man", "Honestly in the eyes", "Enemy", "Invisible", "Smoke to me gone", which also has a Spanish-language version, the duets with Maria Ilieva "Do you hear me" and "Stolen love". He is a regular winner of the BG Radio Annual Music Awards - not only as a singer, but also as a composer and lyricist. "Together" with Lubo and Orlin Pavlov was chosen as the BG song of 2011; his hit of the summer 2012 - "Smoke to me gone" with rapper Bobo and beatbox champion Pechenka. Four awards from the BG Radio 2013 ceremony: for artist, lyrics ("Sekunda" by Orlin Pavlov, co-written with Lubo Kirov and Bobo), album and song ("Dim da me no"). In 2016, he created the Bulgarian song for the Eurovision Song Contest for Children "Valsheben den", performed by Lidiya Ganeva, which placed ninth out of 17 entries in the final in Malta. On 6 April 2017, he gave a concert at the Arena Armeec hall in Sofia, repeated on a mini-tour in several other cities. He joins the coaches in The Voice of Bulgaria 4 (2017), for the first time in such a role. She won another award from BG Radio in 2017 for "BG Album" with her 12th studio album, "Moments".
