Yorgos Yassemis gained considerable popularity in our country after his duet song with Nelly "Suddenly"/"Ksafnika". The Greek singer admits that he feels at home in Bulgaria and has great confidence in the teams he works with here.
Yorgos Yassemis was born on 26 July in Athens. Music captivated him at an early age and he realised that singing was his vocation. From a young age he started taking singing, solfege and guitar lessons. At school everyone remembers him singing all the time. Immediately after graduation, he began to pursue music professionally and perform as a singer. He has been in the music business for nearly 20 years, half of which he has been singing in Thessaloniki, a city he loves and adores himself! He has worked with big names such as Vasilis Karas, Despina Vandi, Stamatis Gonidis and others. In three consecutive seasons for 2005-2007 he sang at "Mouses" in Thessaloniki, and to this day he holds the record for stage appearances without a break (7 days a week). The title track of the album "Gia sena na pethano", with music and lyrics by Christodoulos Siganos & Valentino, became a total radio hit in 2009. In the winter of 2010 he appeared in "Frangelico" alongside Andreas Stamos and Chryspa. His singles "Pos boreis" with music by Costas Milotakis and lyrics by Dimitris Tsafas, and "Oute krio, oute zesti" with music and lyrics by Fivos have also been popular.
