Denis was a discovery of the competition for young talents "Planet is looking for a superstar" in the complex "The Tales" near Harmanli in the spring of 2010. Denis repeated his success during the tour "Planeta Derby" 2010, winning the casting in Targovishte. At the end of 2010 the talented singer signed a contract with the music company "Piner".

Denis Nikolaev was born on August 7 in Razgrad and comes from a musical family - his grandfather still plays the trumpet and his mother was a singer. Denis graduated from a music class in his native Razgrad and is currently a student of Music Pedagogy in Shumen. The singer performs modern Balkan pop, mostly liked by the youth audience. Denis also has joint projects with the young singer Tedi Alexandrova and with Tsveti from the group "Expose".
