About the contractor

Yavor Yanakiev, better known as 100 Kila, is a Bulgarian rap and hip-hop artist and music producer from Varna.

Yavor Yanakiev was born into a poor family in Varna in 1983. When he was 13 years old his father abandoned his family and his mother went to work in Greece in order to support him. He studied at the Vocational High School of Electrical Engineering and Construction in Targovishte and finished 8th grade. After that, apparently the school could not keep his interest and he changed more than 12 schools until 10th grade, including the Mechanical Technical School in Targovishte and the Technical School of Shipbuilding and Shipping in the Asparuhovo district of Varna. During this time Yavor worked various jobs to help support his family, most often as a salesman.

In the beginning, Yavor was known as Puff-a because of his resemblance to the American rap legend Puff Daddy. His artistic nickname - 100 Kila - comes from the Varna slang - when someone "feeds" or "orders" another to such an extent that the one taking over starts to feel a weight, which he feels like 100 Kila on his back. With it Yavor started his musical career in the former label of Misho Shamara - "R'nB Records". Apart from his work as a rap artist, Kilata also performed as a DJ on the gaining momentum "black parties" alongside the "hip hop wave" that emerged for the second time. Always entertaining, fresh with well selected music DJ 100 KILA knows how to get the crowd in the mood and is fast becoming one of the best in the industry. This of course helps him to feel what the party people want and offers it to them directly with his first hit "In The Club". He did this well before his colleague 50 Cent, who later exploded onto the American market with a hit more similarly titled. The publishers at Hip Hop Base magazine recognized the talent and featured him in an issue as "the hidden weapon of R'n B records". Two more knocks followed - "Rhythm Bass" and "BOUNCE" and logically came the release of his first album "Better Sick Than Hungry". "R'nB Records" ceased to exist after one of the partners Vanko 1 was convicted and went to prison. Kilata worked mainly as a DJ in the club scene and after a short lull in terms of music production he came back with a hit - "Shrink, Shrink". He continued with another street hammer "Koz, Beer", then "O-Ye" and "Past Time", which became part of his second album, titled "The Transition of the Enlightened".

Blast with "Lace on My Neck" and "Steal, Steal" and another rap wave is here. "All Night", "Guilty", "SYSTEM"(to the soundtrack of the movie "Gun, Suitcase and 3 Stinking Barrels"), "My Radio", "I'm 6" and "Foreign Sins" follow, hits that naturally form 100 Killa's third studio album, "ZLA10".

Kilata is taking over the clubs and the internet with his unique attitude, energy and professionalism. He's putting on a "show" in the truest sense of the word, developing the club scene and making way for the rest of the artists in this style. The rap artist is having fun while he works, it shows and is one of the secrets to his success.

100 Killa picks up the pace and releases: 'Kaimaka', 'Sliven's Kashkaval', 'Di Boss' and 'Percy' with D DOUBBLE E. He parted ways with the company that distributes his production and founded his own label "Jabulah Entertainment", through which "the churning of hits continues" - "The Devil's City" with Dicho, "Kashe (refresh)" with NDOE, the patriotic "100 Gaidi", "4 Red Moons" - an experiment with Tsvetelina Yaneva and "Gas to the Hole".

Stepping on such a volume of production 100 KILA establishes a solid level and proves himself as the most successful and hard working rapper.

Producers of TV projects noticed his success and in a struggle for higher ratings began to invite him. Next came his appearances in the reality show "The Mole", the TV series "House Arrest" and "Capitalers in More", etc.

The kilt also shines in the world of haute couture. He is the first Bulgarian rapper official representative of a world-famous clothing brand - in this case the plate conquered the world "VERSACE". He also created and developed his own fashion line with success. He is part of the official Bulgarian fan organizations of Manchester United and CADILLAC. He actively participates in charitable causes related to the development of young people in Bulgaria. (Fees collected from interviews were donated to a school in his neighborhood in the city of Varna - Asparuhovo. He helped to send a group of promising young people to a mathematics Olympiad, etc.).

Turned into a monster of Bulgarian rap 100 Kila, along with his music, is building a career as a producer. Artists such as Laura Karadzhova, Maggie Dzhanavarova, Geri-Nikol, Bobo, Dicho from D2, Tsvetelina Yaneva and Nelly Rangelova are produced by him.

In terms of the music market, 100 Killa maintains a heavyweight and holds a very serious trump card - a song with one of the biggest acts in the game - RICK ROSS, and in a recent interview the rap machine announced that he has production ready for the next 5 years so the story continues and the interesting stuff is to come...
